As a child, I always knew I wanted to be an artist. After graduating with a BFA in painting from the University of New Orleans, I started my career as an art teacher. After teaching art and raising three children for more than 25 years, the time is finally right to pursue my artistic dreams of becoming a professional painter.
I paint primarily in oil on canvas and am inspired by the world around me, celebrating the places, people and moments in life through a simplified composition and bold, colorful brushstrokes.
